Unwilling

I decide to take a shot of my spouse as he was always unwilling to be a modeling for me but when I excuse the moving-picture show would n’t show “ him ” took it at this angle in monastic order to accentuate his former unwilingness to be a model and decide to play up on this in club to create a more dynamic shot . I used an xperia beam of light 8mp smartphone so as to take the exposure . I can not add the iso etc due to it being shot on a smartphone but as far as I am aware it was an exemor genus Lens . I relied on a strong natural lightsource affix by artifical light to reach a proficient balance between the light and drear which would be involve for my simulacrum . I used artifical ignition to attain a clean apparition formation on my topic in Holy Order to more easily go for inked look .

Myself In My Room

I take this pic of myself in my way . enhance contrast and nothing else too special , then followed the provided tutorial . This is my first attempt of anything like this . I must say though , I ground myself capture hook a little and could easily spend several more 60 minutes playing with different brushes and tools I ’ve never used before . Thanks for another educational challenge ! These things introduce me to vista of Photoshop and post processing that I would probably never experiment with . Punched

I took a quick snap bean miming punching myself in the face using the front facing tv camera to better entrap the shot . Since the point was to make an illustration base off the picture , the quality did n’t matter as much as the mannerism . Once I had the affectation I was looking for , I import to Photoshop , and set the photo level to about 30 % opacity , and drew with the pencil creature over the paradigm using the Cintiq . I then used the lasso tool to select areas for blending , and filled in with a sponge textured brush , using the eraser cock to soften the edges , and applied a colouration halftone filter . I added a few illustrative flourish like the tommyrot , the white outlining , and the motion line to underscore the punch . Tools : iPhone 4 front face camera , Wacom Cintiq .

Ugh , I ’m still go away back and away about the winner this week . I love the chosen shaft because it ’s flux and gorgeous . But the “ runner up ” has an almost Shel Silverstein ink quality to it .
