Along with an analogspeedometerand tachometer , the ST2 included a digital video display for fuel degree , engine temperature , and time of day . Rearview mirror were spring - load to help absorb shock , and the full - coverage fairing offered the driver an increase level of protection from the ingredient .

Though this was a two - valve version of the V - twin , a four - valve variant appeared shortly thereafter carry the ST4 naming .
