90 Day FiancéstarsSam Wilson and Citra Heranihave tied the knot!
“We wanted an intimate wedding with both of our families in attendance so we could feel supported and celebrate with our loved ones. We were so happy that both of our parents were able to attend and left their own religious beliefs to the side to celebrate our union wholeheartedly,” Herani, who is Muslim, tells PEOPLE.
Having both of their families present when they exchanged their handwritten vows was a top priority for the couple as Herani is from Indonesia and Wilson is from Missouri.

While they admitted that planning their big day was “stressful” — “We had little to no time leading up to it,” Wilson explains — they regret nothing of the experience.
“Getting to marry each other in the end made it all worth it!” Herani says.
Wilson’s brother served as officiant for the wedding ceremony, which included a Muslim celebration. Herani’s mother gave her away in a touching moment.

The bride wore a classic white strapless dress with a simple train, and the groom sported a simple black suit and a red tie.
At the reception, guests enjoyed classic American small bites. “Originally, we wanted to offer Indonesian traditional foods at the wedding, but that was too spicy for us Americans!” jokes Wilson.
The couple chose a 3-tier vanilla wedding cake.
