Alien: Earth‘s Story Sounds Absolutely Wild

Most of what we ’ve learned aboutAlien : Earthso far has been incredibly vague . There ’s an Alien , and it ’s on Earth , and that ’s … well , that’smostly about it . But we ’ve just learned when we can expect to in reality see it … and also a raft , lot more about its mount in theAlientimeline .

This morning FX and Hulu confirmed thatAlien : Earthwill premier this August , alongside a bevy of fresh range from the show , which set out to raise the lid on the serial ’ premise . unknown : Earthis fructify in 2120 , just two long time before the event of the original picture show , and follows life on Earth as it is dominated by the corporate interests of five govern companies : Prodigy , Weyland - Yutani , Lynch , Dynamic , and Threshold . Each of those five corporations in racing to unlock the key to immortality , advancing human longevity through the development of synthetical life and cybernetics . But things heat up when Prodigy ’s chief executive officer announces that the party has managed to synthesise those two fields and create the very first intercrossed form of life : Wendy ( play by Sydney Chandler ) , a human consciousness merged with a man-made android body .

Wendy lives in Prodigy City , the company ’s all - encompassing HQ , alongside other hybrids , get up to show in a young age for humankind … which Weyland - Yutani does n’t like very much . So , in what can only be described as anextremely hostilecorporate takeover , the company by design crashes one of its research vessels , the USCSSMaginot , into Prodigy City , unleashing its surviving Xenomorph rider , onto Wendy , the sleep of the hybrids , and everyone else now trapped in Prodigy City . Oops !
