One of the thing I love / detest about Under the Dome is that I get the flavor it ’s one of those display where my favorite quality — the geeky guy , the gothy girl , the snarky applied scientist and snippy diary keeper — are all doomed . possibly they wo n’t give way , but this show has me on the boundary of my seat , wondering .

Last dark ’s instalment , like last workweek ’s , was first-class . We ’re starting to see a scary new force structure consolidate in the townspeople ( with Big Jim at its fountainhead ) , while at the same time biography cash in one’s chips on ( the stripling are doing skate jumps off the dome ) . I have to admit that I get tire every sentence Big Jim talks to the pastor about their malefic drug scheme that somehow have to do with the propane . Really ? All they are doing is deal drug ? That ’s so average compared to Junior ’s marque of evil .
Speaking of Junior , I ’m actually stare to marvel if there is something to his jibber jabber about how the noodle is crazy - making for some people . Junior keep open tell his captive ex - lady friend Angie that the dome has driven her half-baked — which , maybe the attic in reality drive him crazy ? It sound like he was always kind of a drip mold , but was he a psycho kidnapper ? Maybe his turn for the violent could be explained by the same phenomenon that drove Officer Crazypants to shoot his fellow military officer last hebdomad ? And maybe it ’s the same affair that ’s reach Joe and Norrie have seizure while chanting “ the headliner are falling in lines ” ?
I ’m really hope that Julia ’s sudden pursuit in Junior is go to contribute to her finding Angie . I ’m upset about the whole “ where is she run low to the bathroom while chained to a bed ” interrogation . Also , why did n’t she recoil Junior in the face and snap up his keys while she had the opportunity ? C’m on Angie , habituate those scissors hold wisely . Go for the optic .
After Julia deliver Junior from the township ’s cloak-and-dagger tunnels , I have Modern respect for our fact-finding diarist . First of all , she admitted she ’d been a bad reporter and that ’s why she got stuck in this townspeople after her amazing gig writing for The Verge or Huffington Post or whatever . And she acknowledge the “ pay off out of underground tunnel with matches ” deception . Plus , I like that she ’s basically pirate the radio station for disseminate the news , and is actively investigating everything ( include the function in Barbie ’s bag , which I ’m guess will lead her eventually to the truth about her husband ) .
Also , have you consider that Junior might be right about Barbie ? Even though he has a sensitive dusting of beard , he might be a psycho .
So anyway , now that I like Julia , I ’m pretty certain she ’s toast . Also , Joe and Norrie are probably toast too . BECAUSE I fuck THEM . I sleep together that Joe is a complete geek and is using purgative to study the attic . Plus , bonus Star Wars reference ! And Norrie suppose she likes geeks , correctly before she totally busts that jock bastard ’s balls for barge into Joe ’s house and seek to deal time on his author to all the mobile - starved masses .
Other people whom I love who are toast ? Linda the surprisingly brave pig who tells Big Jim that he does n’t control her , film down the sorry guy rope in one shot , and pulls place on everybody when she has to . It ’s great that Big Jim is suck up to her at the oddment , and that she ’s whole bloody suspicious about that . Though to be fair , we have seen that Big Jim does like about the townsfolk ( catch that dozer to put out the fire was smart , and not entirely selfish ) .
There was a whole “ I ’ve been to war ” vs. “ I was a quarterback ” dick - evaluate thing go on between Barbie and Big Jim . What does it all intend ? I ’m moderately certain war is male than football game , so I do n’t know why Big Jim was all up in Barbie ’s human face .
Now get ’s recap what we know about the dome itself so far . It seem that the military have been arrange to ignore everybody inside the dome ( why ? ) . We learn that the dome is semi - permeable — water can get through , and probably atmosphere as well . Some radio signaling are dawn , thanks to Dodee AKA “ I have a masters academic degree in electrical engine room . ” It seems to be a field , not a dome , given that it go so deeply underground . And it ’s beaming uncanny shit into people ’s heads . Anything I ’m forgetting here ?
I ’m excited to see more , and get to know these character — peculiarly because they are probably doom !
