Christine Quinn’s husbandChristian Dumontethas requested a restraining order from his spouse, in part because he has concerns that the formerSelling Sunsetstar may try and abduct their 3-year-old son,Christian.
PEOPLE obtained a copy of Dumontet’s request on Tuesday. In it, Dumontet, 44, requests that Quinn, 35, move out and stay 100 yards (300 feet) from his Los Angeles home.
His request stems from an alleged domestic incident on March 19.
In the document, Dumontet claims that on that day, the couple argued over two dogs Quinn owns as pets “which she refuses to have house or crate trained.”
“Mr. Dumontet constantly finds himself the only one cleaning up after the dogs, so much so that operating and cleaning the remote vacuum cleaner has become a bonding activity between himself and 3-year-old Christian,” it read.
Dumontet claims that on March 19, Quinn refused to clean up after her dogs, telling him “that she tried to clean but was not going to do anything further.”
“At that point Mr. Dumontet grabbed the trash bag from the floor and threw it to the side of the room, against the wall,” the documents claim. “Mr. Dumontet did not throw the bag towards Ms. Quinn, or their son. Additionally, there was no glass in the bag, as there was no broken glass in the room or anywhere in the house.”
“The suspect threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim, missed the victim, but the object hit the victim’s child causing injury,” a public information officertold PEOPLEat the time.
In the document, Dumontet refutes those claims and denies there have ever been “incidents of domestic violence within the relationship.”
He alleges that Quinn “suddenly filed an EPO (emergency protection order) against me using false allegations of domestic violence.”
According to the request, Dumontet is asking that the judge restrict Quinn’s travel with their child to L.A. county, adding that he fears she may “abduct” or kidnap their son. It adds that she “has a history of threatening to take away or hide our children from me” and “not cooperating with me in parenting.”
Dumontet claims Quinn does not have strong ties to California, adding that her mother and father “who she is very close to live in Texas.”
However, according to the request, Dumontet is allowing Quinn to have joint custody of Christian and unmonitored visitation rights. He is also asking that Quinn provide travel plans and documents for their child.

PEOPLE has reached out to reps for both Dumontet and Quinn, but did not immediately hear back.
The couple, who have beenmarried since December 2019,welcomedtheir first and only child together, in May 2021.
