In an interview withMTVDavid Duchovnysaid he was all open to a new X - Files movie , in fact he thinks the possible Mayan Book of Revelation in 2012 almost demands it .
“ As far as the X - Files movie I ’d wish to do next , if we get a luck to do it , would be a return to the ticker and someone of the mythology , which is the alien - orient conspiracy , ” Duchovny say . “ I conceive it ’s natural for ‘ The X - Files ’ to have another moving-picture show in 2012 , so we ’ll see if we get to do it . ”
I ’m all for this — we need to end the series on a preferable alien note . Because I still believe that the truth is out there .
