What have there been , like , three whole iPhone versions ? Android ’s ( very ) previous prescribed Facebook app has show its iconic little face in the App Market — and it ’s actually sort of surprising .
Instead of just port over the interface — or at least the interface concept — from therecently - release Facebook 3.0for the iPhone , they ’ve given us an Android - specific UI . Not that it ’s particularly Android - y ; it ’s just different . The front page panel on the iPhone app have been supersede with a simple thought of your feed , while the respite of the functions get by way of card - approachable shortcuts , which postulate iron a concentrated button .

Those other features include direct photo uploads , big avoirdupois “ Like ” buttons and , though I could n’t get this one working , a telephone book role that give you inst access to 125 of you select supporter ’ headphone number . UPDATE : So , Phandroid’snoticeda few uneven thing about this app : Despite the developer being list in the Market as “ Facebook , ” the developer ’s email name and address is a suspicious[email protected ] , and the associated Facebook app — as in , for the web site — says it was not develop by Google . Could we have an impostor here ? That would explain the raw design philosophy , and the lack of a few major features ( messages , anyone ? ) , but that the fact that it is a fairly urbane app .
