Logitech ’s really push this “ omnidirectional acoustics ” stuff with their new speaker sets — they’ve got both front- and bottom - front driver in each artificial satellite , and the subwoofer ( when include ) push the sound down rather than out .
Omnidirectional acoustics sounds pretty nice for the more portable 2.0 readiness , the Z320 and Z520 , but we ’re not certain if they ’ll be that useful for relatively more anchored 2.1 sets that , in our experience at least , are usually place up against a wall , in effect blocking half of that 360 degree . But Logitech speakers are reliably nice - vocalize , and seeing as how we ca n’t very well pass judgment them without get a line them , we ’ll have to suffice on specs for now . All of these are packing an additional input for MP3 player as well as a earpiece jack .
TheZ320is a 10 - watt 2.0 system commercialize for laptop computer , and costs $ 70 , while its 2.1 cousin-german , theZ323 , packs 30 James Watt ( 18 for the subwoofer ) and RCA audio in at the same monetary value . The more expensiveZ5232.1 set ( pictured ) is somewhat much the same as the Z323 with a protuberance to 40 watts of power , and checks in at $ 100 . At the top of the leaning is theZ520 , a 2.0 solidifying with 26 watts of power that costs $ 130 . We ’ll have to adjudicate them out for ourselves to see if this 360 - degree phone is all Logitech articulate it is . [ Logitech ]
