At a late Star Wars Celebration event in Essen , Germany , Lucasfilm Chief Executive Kathleen Kennedy said that George Lucas has already shared all his news report ideas with J.J. Abrams . Here are some more thoughts from Kennedy at the event :

“ Much like many of you , looking at all the Star Wars movies and amaze a tactual sensation in what the other films did in compounding with real locations and special impression — that ’s something we ’re calculate very seriously at . We ’re get to find some really nerveless locations for Ep VII . We ’re croak to use every tool in the toolbox for this movie … It ’s using art that you’re able to touch and feel in combining with CG event … We jazz that if we do n’t have great stories and corking role , then effects imply nothing … We have an opportunity to make some amazing new characters . ”

Director Marc Webb identifies a timber this sequel will have that its precursor lacked :

“ I think what was maybe leave out from the first movie a little bit is that sort of joyousness of being Spider - Man … I was tell this before … what I loved about Spider - Man was that he was having a clap being Spider - Man . And I do n’t know if we ’ve really control that really encompass in any of the moving-picture show before . ”

Director Bryan Singer talk about the moving picture ’s stage setting :

“ It takes place about ten eld , give or take , after X - Men 3 ; and in the past it accept blank space about ten age after First Class … It ’s its own story , inspired by day of Future Past . [ Kitty Pryde is ] the prime facilitator – it ’s her power that enables that to happen . But it ’s Wolverine who has the strength and the stamina to be able-bodied to go back on this journey . Charles is in a very dark hollow when we meet him , and Erik has been gathering his power . They ’re in a radically dissimilar lieu . ”

Director Gareth Edwards explains how this movie offers a more realistic version of the Godzilla monster while still paying tribute to the 1954 master :
“ In a way we approached it was , imagine in 1954 ( when the first Godzilla movie was made ) , that this creature really existed and someone saw him from Toho , the Japanese studio apartment , and went running back to the studio apartment and said , ‘ I ’ve seen this tool and it kind of looked like this . ’ And they tried to get it and they seek to make a suit and they did a very beneficial job of it but then , when you go through the existent creature , you go ‘ Okay , I totally understand how you got that suit from that creature but now I see the real affair . Oh my God , I totally believe that it ’s all real . ’ And that ’s how we draw near it . We went through hundreds of intent , and never stopped playing really until the last instant and got to the item where it was like , ‘ Is there anything else that we want to change about this design ’ ? And I was like , personally no , I ’m very happy with it . And Toho was very much a part of the approval appendage . So it ’s a Toho approved purpose as well . ”
He also discuss how best to equilibrate human emotion with the larger-than-life CGI elements :

“ I think the trick is not to conceive of the special effects or anything – and just think that this is really happen and there are elephantine monster . Ask , ‘ What would be the good story to tell that always involve humans ? ’ I do n’t single out the two in my mind . You just depict the moving-picture show . What was so brisk was that we would shoot scenes that sometimes had the wight in it and sometimes did n’t , but we would desperately attempt to make it work from an worked up point of view . Then , in the evenings , I would go to review thing with the effects companies who are starting to put the ocular effects in , and you ’re like , ‘ I completely forget there ’s a whole other bed to this ! ’ We have been painstakingly concern about the characters and their journeying and on top of that is this spectacle embed in the whole film – and it makes you experience really good . ”

Steven Moffat says that the 12th Doctor ’s first story will find him ( and yes , he used the male pronoun to refer to the Doctor , for whatever that might be deserving ) palisade by the great unwashed he knows — the smart money is on Strax , Vastra , and Jenny , who he suggested will appear in the next series , though he does n’t explicitly connect those two fact — and this will set aside the new Doctor to face a more challenging adventure than he could normally in the immediate consequence of a regeneration , as he will be around the great unwashed he get it on and in something of a solace zone . He also says an old Doctor is a possibility . [ Dr. Who television receiver ]
It ’s in high spirits clock time for another hearsay of Paul McGann showing up in the 50th day of remembrance special . Or , more specifically , one rumour is that McGann will show up in a special prologue minisode , in which McGann ’s Eighth Doctor regenerates into John Hurt ’s incarnation . That does seem like a vaguely plausible rumor , but it ’s still ripe to take these things with a grain of table salt . [ Bleeding Cool ]

Jenna - Louise Coleman discusses how the 50th anniversary special could exchange Doctor Who eternally :
” The whole episode is a massive solemnization and it ’s kind of about celebrating the last 50 years of Doctor Who , with a massive squad of us all throw in there but it ’s quite a shift installment and it very much changes the focussing of where the show is sound in quite a boastful way . It ’s in the can and all the three-D and effects and everything like that is taking place as we speak . ” [ Metro ]

Producer Marcus Wilson promises Matt Smith ’s regeneration episode will top even the 50th anniversary limited :
“ I opine the authoritative thing for us is we want to give Matt the sendoff he deserve . We require to mail the 11th Dr. out with a bang . So coming after the 50th anniversary , which has been our most ambitious episode yet , everybody want to top that … and really give 11 the proper sendoff … [ who will replace him is ] all being worked out at the moment . The thing is , at the second , we ’re reduce on Matt ’s sendoff , so that ’s the next stagecoach after that . ”

Some newfangled set photos ( and one video ) from the motion-picture photography in Iceland reveal a few things . First of all , there are a bunch of horse in armour — who apparently are from the Vale , the home of Lysa Arryn . And apparently , those scenes demand Arya Stark and the Hound , meaning we ’ll see the Hound trying to deliver Arya to her aunt . Also apparently filming scene in Iceland : Gwendolyn Christie ( Brienne ) and Daniel Portman ( Tyrion ’s gallant Podrick ) , so it seems we ’ll see some of the storyline where they go in search of Arya and Sansa . “ We have a enceinte conflict that the wonderful Neil Marshall that did the Battle of Blackwater back to unmediated , that ’s very exciting for me , ” Martin spills . “ We have another Royal Wedding , this one is not violent ; this one is a dissimilar vividness . We have the intro of some great newfangled character . We finally innovate one of the most pop quality from the books : Prince Oberon Martell . The Red Viper of Dorne will be introduced for the first time and there will be some other new characters that I believe the fan will like . The Wildlings are continuing to move toward the wall . We ’ll see many of the characters , we ’ll see what happens to Tyrion and Cersei and Jaime and all of the remaining Starks , the few that are left and hopefully it will be another great time of year . ”

The male child are dealing with a world that they have n’t had to cover with in many seasons . blaze is not Hell without the King of Hell in Hell . The saint are not in heaven . … There is something of a free - for - all . … I think you ’re going to see this broken landscape where alignment are go to form . Some alliances that you ’ve never seen our boys make before are going to have to be made . Some decision that the boy would rather not make are going to have to be made very early on and are pop off to be very , very personal to the boy and are croak to have a awful effect on the mythology and their relationship . ”
He also hash out the issue of Jim Beaver as Bobby :
“ You do n’t require to minimize a death . destruction is decease . … So to that end , we ’re very , very careful about how we bring Bobby [ back ] and how Bobby come back is a way that folks wo n’t expect . ”
