While her father faces the final days of his presidency and the start of his second impeachment trial — in the shadow of the deadly pro-Trump insurrection at the U.S. Capitol last week —Tiffany Trumpis far away, in Florida, socializing and considering her next move.
Insiders tell PEOPLE that PresidentDonald Trump’s younger daughter, with his ex-wifeMarla Maples, has been spending time in the Miami area with boyfriendMichael Boulosand she is weighing a new purchase.
“She is actively looking for a house in Miami Beach,” one local source tells PEOPLE, noting that Tiffany “has been in Miami Beach for five or six days.”
The Trumps' roots in Florida are growing deeper, even as the White House has been mum on their post-Washington, D.C., plans.
In addition to the president’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach — a favored retreat — presidential adviserIvanka Trumprecently purchased property in the Miami area with husbandJared KushnerandDonald Trump Jr.and his girlfriend, former Fox News hostKimberly Guilfoyle, are looking at houses all over Palm Beach County, sources confirm to PEOPLE.
It’s unclear if any of them can get far enough away from the stain of last week’s violence.
After a mob of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6 during a joint session of Congress, and five people died, multiple businesses and groups said they would cut ties with the president and his Trump Organization, raising the specter of costly condemnation.
(“We live in the age of cancel culture, but this isn’t something that started this week. It is something that they have been doing to us and others for years,” sonEric Trumptoldthe Associated Pressin response.)

“Tiffany looked happy and content because she was able to enjoy herself without people pointing her out,” a source says.
“She and Micheal were lovey-dovey and laughing a lot while they were at the lounge,” the source continues. (Tiffany and Boulos, the son of a wealthy family with businesses in Nigeria, first met in the summer of 2018, atLindsay Lohan’s club on Mykonos, Greece.)

“Michael loves this lounge and its decor and comes here all of the time when he is in Miami,” a source tells PEOPLE of their visit Saturday to the indoor/outdoor entertainment venue in Miami.
“Michael and Tiffany were in a group of about five people including Israeli singer Omer Adam. They had bites and drinks and stayed for two hours with her bodyguard in tow,” the source says.
The source also says that Tiffany and Boulos left a big tip for the staff — “they were gracious and extremely generous to the waiters” — and “they felt protected and could be themselves.”
“They stayed for three-and-a-half hours, until it got dark. She was very low-key, sitting at a table away from the spotlight in a corner of the restaurant wearing an oversized low-brim sun hat.”
The Secret Service detail assigned to the president’s daughter sat at several tables around her and the others.
“I saw Tiffany and her friends laughing and eating, and they seemed to have fun,” says one source. Though another tells PEOPLE: “Tiffany was guarded and concerned for her privacy.”
A spokeswoman for the Trump Organization did not respond to a request for comment.
