Ivanka Trumpand her husband,Jared Kushner, are parents to three kids: Arabella Rose, Joseph Frederick and Theodore James.
Ivanka, the older daughter of PresidentDonald Trump, has spoken at length about her children, crediting her own late mother,Ivana Trump, and her stepmother,Melania Trump, as parenting role models.
Speaking of her late mom, whodied in 2022at the age of 73, Ivanka told PEOPLE, “She was the ultimate role model. It was always clear to us thatwe were her priority, but that doesn’t mean we got her 24 hours a day.”
As for her stepmother, Ivanka said she was “a great inspiration.” She added, “She’s done an amazing job sheltering [Barron] from the chaos that comes along with a presidential campaign. Melania is an unbelievable mother.”

Arabella Rose Kushner, 13

Ivanka and Jared welcomed their first child, daughter Arabella Rose, in New York City on July 17, 2011.
Over the years, Ivanka has shared glimpses of her daughter’s personality, including Arabella’s favorite color, dessert and shows. According to a“student spotlight interview”her mom posted on X in 2017, Arabella hoped to be in the Marines someday, and her favorite holiday was Hanukkah because of the presents.
After her grandfather was elected the 45th president of the United States, Arabella occasionally joined her mom at the White House for official state visits and duties. Ivanka took Arabella on an observation trip to the Supreme Court in February 2017, where they heard oral arguments, according toCNN. They posed on the steps of the Supreme Court building before leaving.
“Arabella and I visited the Supreme Courtthis morning and attended a hearing,” Ivanka captioned the photo on X. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to teach her about the judicial system in our country firsthand.”

She showed off her vocal skills again when China’s President Xi Jinping visited Mar-a-Lago in April 2017, and her younger brother Joseph joined her.
“Very proud of Arabella and Joseph for their performance in honor of President Xi Jinping and Madame Peng Liyuan’s official visit to the US!” Ivankacaptioned a clipon X of her kids.
In June 2023, Arabellacelebrated her bat mitzvah, a Jewish coming-of-age ritual.
Ivanka shared family photos from the day onInstagram, where she wrote in part, “We couldn’t be prouder of the extraordinary young woman she has become. Her kindness, creativity, humor, empathy and passion have filled our lives with so much joy and inspiration. May her Bat Mitzvah be the beginning of a beautiful and fulfilling chapter in her life.”
Joseph Frederick Kushner, 10

Ivanka and Jared expanded their family with the birth of their second child, Joseph Frederick Kushner, on Oct. 14, 2013.
She shared news of her son’s birthon Instagram, captioning a blue-and-white graphic, “With love we welcome our son, Joseph Frederick Kushner.”
Ivanka also made an announcementon X, writing, “We just welcomed a beautiful & healthy son into the world. Jared, Arabella and I couldn’t be happier!”
“Both men set the standards that have been passed down through the generations and which we hope to impart upon Joseph and Arabella,” she explained. “We are honored to name our son after these two distinguished men.”

As Joseph has grown up, Ivanka has shared a look at his favorite pastimes, including golf andfishing. In 2016, she posted a picture of him on a course. “Tee time! ⛳️,” she wroteon Instagram.
Her older son is also a basketball fan, and the mother-son pair attended game 4 of the NBA Finals in May 2023, where the Denver Nuggets played the Miami Heat.

Theodore James Kushner, 8

Ivanka and Jared completed their family with their third child, a son named Theodore James, born on March 27, 2016.
Ahead of his birth, Ivanka told PEOPLE in November 2015 that Arabella was the first to announce the pregnancy — to her classmates. “Her whole nursery school class was congratulating me,” she said, adding that their family didn’t know then.
Theodore’s brother Joseph was also excited about his arrival. Ivanka told PEOPLE in April 2016 that her middle child quickly adapted to being an older sibling.

Ivanka was also open about how she evolved as a mother. “With Arabella I was so nervous all the time, I was nervous about breaking her, I was nervous about dropping her, I was nervous about all the basic elements of being a first-time parent,” she recalled.
Ivanka continued, “With Joseph, I was materially less nervous and now with Theodore I’m so busy chasing the other ones I don’t have time to be nervous!”
In honor of her youngest child’s 4th birthday in 2020, she shared family photos with his dad, grandfather and siblings.Ivanka wrote, “He is joy personified and lights up our home, and envelops our hearts, with his kindness and laughter. ☀️.”
