Kelly Rowland’sson is realizing there are some perks to having a famous mom.
The 43-year-old mom of two spoke withEntertainment Tonightat the premiere of her new filmMea Culpaand shared a sweet story about her son Titan Jewell, 8. Rowland shares her two sons — Titan and Noah Jon, 3 — with husband Tim Weatherspoon.
“I’ma tell you the cutest story,” Rowland began. “So, the other day, I took him to a Lakers game. We’re sitting there and LeBron and I catch eyes and I was like, ‘Yo, what’s up,’ and he was like, ‘What’s up?'”

In January, Rowlandpenned a sweet Instagram message to her second sonafter he turned 3.
“Noah Jon Weatherspoon My favorite 2nd born son!!" Rowland wrote alongside acarousel postof family photos. “Your smile can light up ANYWHERE YOU GO!”
“You have brought so much light into this world, our world, as a family!" she added. “Continue to shine your light everywhere you go! I Love You Forever and Ever, Mommy♥️.”
In the second slide, Noah was captured giving his mother and the person behind the camera a flower before hugging Rowland. The birthday boy also posed for a snap with his dad, as well as his big brother.
Appearing on the cover ofKindred By PARENTSdigital issuein October, the singeropened up about the importance of the valuesshe’s instilling in her two sons, particularly as young Black men.
“I just want to get this right. I want to really be a part of bringing some really amazing young men forth into the world. That was my only prayer,” she told the outlet. “I don’t know why I’m emotional, but my only prayer was to have really great young Black men in this world who were sure of themselves and didn’t have to be told who they were.”
“I really cared about that because the narrative is tough as it is,” she added.
Rowland also shared how important it is to her to enjoy all the moments with her sons.
“If we’re gonna grow our kids, like, let’s be lost in their interests and the things that bring them joy. Let’s have joy with them about it,” she said.
“I’ll sit out here and watch him do basketball or do whatever it is that he loves so much because I want him to know that I see it. It’s wonderful," she continued. “It’s worth celebrating. You’re worth celebrating. Your try is worth celebrating. I love all that is you.”
