The country music star andYellowstoneactor urged series creatorTaylor Sheridanto count her in for the second half of the show’s final season. “I’m ready for it, I’ll tell you that,” she toldEntertainment Tonighton the 66thGrammy Awardsred carpet on Sunday.

“I’m waiting to see what’s happening,” she added. “I told Taylor Sheridan, you give me the call and I’ll be there.”

“(Sheridan) said he wanted me to pretty much be myself, which is a dream come true, especially when you’re trying to introduce yourself to people,” Wilson previously toldUSA Todayof the role.  “All I got from him at that time was that I would play a musician who would fall in love with one of the boys. He didn’t even tell me which one.”

So far, the Grammy winner has been featured in fourYellowstoneepisodes — all of which aired in the first part of season 5. Episodes one through eight of the final season premiered in November 2022.

While the rest of the final season is on the horizon,Yellowstoneis currently on a filming hiatus following a few roadblocks. LeadKevin Costnerstepped away from the seriesbefore filming the second half of season 5, and the 2023 Hollywood strikes postponed further work on the series. However, the show’s final episodes have finally been given a November 2024 premiere date.

Costner shared more on his decision to leave the series duringa child support hearingin September. At the time, he said he needed to focus on his own western epic, the four-part movie seriesHorizon: An American Saga,which didn’t work with filmingYellowstonetwice a year. Costner said he “changed” his schedule to shoot the first part of season 5, adding, “That’s a big deal in this world.”

He concluded, “I couldn’t help them any more. We tried to negotiate, they offered me less money than previous seasons, there were issues with the creative…” before saying he agreed to “have them pay me whatever number, we came up with a number, and they [Yellowstone] walked away.”
