The star ofThe Good Wifelisted irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, which actually happened a year-and-a-half ago, as she listed their date of separation as May 6, 2023.
The couple shares son Peter, 5, and daughter Mary, 3, and Mamie requested joint physical and legal custody of them in the filing. She is also seeking spousal support from her ex.

Mamie wed Sethi — a screenwriter who has worked onIt’s Always Sunny, Rick and MortyandBoJack Horseman —on Feb. 2, 2019. He was the actress' second husband.
She was previouslymarried to Benjamin Walkerfrom 2011 to 2013. Walker went on tomarry Kaya Scodelario in 2015, with whomhe shares two children, butthey split last year.

The news of Streep’s daughter’s divorce comes just over a year after PEOPLE confirmed that theOnly Murders in the Buildingactress and her husband of 45 years, Don, hadquietly separated six years ago.
“Don Gummer and Meryl Streep have been separated for more than 6 years, and while they will always care for each other, they have chosen lives apart,” a representative for Streep said in a statement.
