Noting that it’s been three weeks since her last scan, Herron admits she’s been very anxious about her little ones.
“Just hoping I start feeling some flutters soon to have a little reassurance that babies are doing well in there. Otherwise, second trimester is off to a healthy start and my Lovenox bruises have been very minor 👍🏻.”
Earlier this month, Herron confirmed that she isexpecting fraternal twins. Posting photos of her sonogram on her Instagram Story, Herron gave an update on her pregnancy journey as she wrote over the images.
“Last week, we had our 12-week scan with the babies,” she began. “They are measuring exactly the same size, and their zogosity test confirmed that they are fraternal twins, which is a strong indication that both mosaic embryos implanted. (Rather than 1 embryo splitting).”
She also shared a photo of the sonogram, which featured both twin A and twin B.
Herron then reflected on her first ultrasound, revealing that she initially believed she was having triplets.
Earlier this month, Herron posted a Reel to her Instagram whereshe took a minute to share some of her trepidations over being pregnant againafter losing son Oliver, who was born at 24 weeks, in Jan. 2023.
“The morning we found out we were losing Oliver, a friend of mine who’d been through loss encouraged me to take as many photos and videos as I could in our final hours of pregnancy,” she began her caption, adding that to this day, those are still some of the only videos she has of herself pregnant with Oliver.
“I’ve been careful in this pregnancy not to let myself get ‘too attached too soon.’ I’ve been wearing baggier clothing, hibernating and denying when friends ask me on the phone if I’m starting to show yet,” Herron wrote, noting that, “Pregnancy after loss is just a whole new, complicated territory and I wish there was a playbook.”
