When it comes to social media,Princess Eugenieis just like us.
“I do my own Instagram and I find it the most stressful thing in the world,” Eugenie said during the podcast. “Oh my God, I get so nervous. Before I post I have to text about 5 people asking if it’s okay, have I got a spelling mistake, am I gonna get in trouble?”
Although she admitted that was “very nervous” about starting an Instagram account in 2018, she later explained “I want people to know me,” and added that she felt there has been “so much misinformation.”
“I have people come up to me sometimes and say, ‘Oh you’re much better looking in real life,’ and you’re like, ‘Agh. Is that a compliment? I dunno.’” she revealed.
“So I do get nervous, but I wanted people to see the real me,” she said, adding “And to know that I have a sense of humor.”
Despite having more control over images of herself, Eugenie — who shares 2-year-oldAugustand 4-month-oldErnestwith husband Jack Brookshank — said elsewhere in the conversation that she is “constantly finding a balance” when it comes to what content she shares of her work, charity work home life and her family and explained that her Instagram is “really thought out.”
Eugenie’s insightful interview comes just weeks after her sister,Princess Beatrice, also made a rare appearance on theLessons in Dyslexic Thinkingpodcast andopened up about her own experience with dyslexia, her education and the possibility of her children being dyslexic.
Of raising her two children, daughterSienna Elizabeth, 2, and stepsonChristopher Woolf, whom her husband,Edoardo Mapelli Mozzishares with his ex, Dara Huang, the royal, 35, said, “As two dyslexics, we will be figuring out as parents whether or not our children have dyslexia and how best to support them.“She continued, “But I think the most important thing that I can do, hopefully, if they are lucky enough to be dyslexic as well, then I feel really grateful that we can help them with resources.”

“Being a part of this community, I think has given me a bit more of an understanding and I’d really like that for all parents,” Beatrice added.“So actually bringing the parents into the conversation, I think is really exciting because when a parent does happen to have the news that their child is dyslexic, right now, I don’t think they’re getting the right support. We’re still very early days in what we’re achieving together, and it’s really exciting to see how we can do the work to help the parent be the best version of themselves.”

In light of her sister’s rare interview, Eugenieshared a message of support for heron her Instagram Story earlier this month, writing, “So proud of you Beabea” as she shared a clip from the episode.
