Emily Randall Smith, a real estate agent working with the homeowners, toldCBS Los Angeleswhen she and her husband arrived to stage the seven-bedroom property for an open house in January, the lockbox was cut off and a new mailbox was put up.

Realizing someone had illegally occupied the property, they called the police. The man living there refused to leave when police arrived, so the couple waited for him to leave on his own and contacted officers again.

“She was renting from the guy who was like the whole ringleader of the thing,” Randall Smith told CBS. “She was hired to do OnlyFans content in there, so it was a little eerie and weird. Cause when we went in there … you could tell that there was like some weird stuff going on in there.”

After the woman was escorted out, Randall Smith and her husband discovered the squatters had made themselves at home.

“They had fully moved in there. They had suitcases, bags. They had food in the fridge, food cooked on the stove,” she toldABC Los Angeles.

“There was a lot of dog poop… the beds were all messed up, there was a lot of trash everywhere. It kind of seemed like someone was irresponsibly living there,” she continued.

In another interview withFox Los Angeles, Randall Smith described the extent of the mess that was left.

“There was poop and pee everywhere,” she told Fox. “They cut all the cords to the security systems, they brought in new Wi-Fi. They were planning to sit there and move there.”

According to multiple local outlets, no arrests were made. PEOPLE reached out to the Los Angeles Police Department, but did not immediately receive a response.
