The romantic onscreen weddings ofBridgertonhave inspired a real-lifebridal collection.
“Drawing from the shows’ opulent aesthetic and the bold, regal fashions of the character of Queen Charlotte, this collaboration brings romance and glamour to modern-day brides,” Allure Bridals said ina press release.
The dresses feature exquisite details — including lace, floral embellishments, ruffled sleeves and delicate satin buttons — that “promise to make brides feel like they have stepped into their own Georgian- and Regency-era romances.”

“It has been such an honor and a joy to work with the amazing team at Allure who were so supportive and collaborative during the design process,” Paolo said in the release. “As always, there would be nothing withoutShonda Rhimes, who is and always has been a costume designer’s dream writer/producer. I love the worlds that she creates, and it is an absolute delight to fill those worlds with beautiful costumes.”
Paolo toldToday.comthat the idea for the collection came after numerous inquiries from fans wanting to incorporate the romantic “Bridgerverse” aesthetic into their weddings.
“The idea of bringing the opportunity for fans to dress for their wedding in something that is based on the shows is something that’s very exciting to all of us at Shondaland,” she said in May, ahead of the collection’s launch. “Like bringing a little piece of the magic to someone’s life.”

Each of the dresses has its own unique point of view, Paolo noted. “The gowns are all so very different and distinct from one another and the detail is beautiful,” she explained. “The lace is beautiful, the crystals, the veils — we also worked on some veiling — and I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised.”

“We’re very conscious of picking satins and laces and silks that weren’t just white,” she told Today.com “We have a lot of champagnes and ivories in the collection. And I think it was an overall aesthetic choice of, this feels likeBridgerton. This feels likeQueen Charlotte.”
The newBridgertonbridal collection was unveiled on Monday night at a fashion show held at the Huntington Library, Art Museum and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California. Celebrities in attendance included Rhimes,Scandalstar Katie Lowes and influencer Taylen Biggs.
